Winter School on AI
– December 16th to December 18th, 2023 –
ESTIN (École Supérieure en Sciences et Technologies de l’Informatique et du Numérique) is proud to announce the first Winter School on Artificial Intelligence and its Applications, set to take place in Bejaïa, Algeria, from December 16th to December 18th, 2023.
The primary goal of this school is to enhance education and research in the field of artificial intelligence by exploring its various aspects, including Deep Learning, Neuro-Symbolic approaches, and Generative AI.
The Winter School is specifically designed to attract PhD students and junior researchers with a keen interest in AI techniques and their practical applications. Our aim is to create an engaging and enriching learning environment for the next generation of AI researchers and practitioners
This event is part of the partnership between ESTIN, LITAN laboratory, and the LIMOS laboratory (laboratoire d’informatique et de modélisation des systèmes, UMR CNRS 6158, http://www.limos.fr), and ISIMA (Institut Supérieur d’Informatique, de Modélisation et de leurs Applications, http://www.isima.fr), aimed at fostering their cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.

Participation:
Due to limited number of places, candidates are invited to apply to the Winter School
- Eligibility:
- Students currently enrolled in computer/information science and operations research programs at universities in North African or Middle Eastern countries are eligible to apply for participation.
- Applications from lecturers and Junior researchers will also be considered.
- Required Documents:
- Applicants are required to submit a comprehensive CV.
- Submission Deadline:
- All applications must be sent directly via email [email protected] no later than November 30, 2023.
- Notification of Results:
- Applicants will receive notification of the results before December 03, 2023.
- Registration fees
- Phd student : 5 000.00 DA
- Junior researcher : 8 000.00 DA
Registration fees cover meals, special events, course materials, conference facilities, coffee breaks and lunches.
